Ty Hanleigh Knitwear is a family run business established in 1992 in Newport, South Wales.
David uses his wonderful sense of colour and shape to produce the designs, many of which are inspired by the varied landscapes of Wales and Ireland.
This influence gives us a range of garments with a distinctive Celtic flavour which are then hand-framed using a wide selection of natural yarns such as aran weight, undyed wool, Cotton chenille, 4 ply wool and a wool/silk yarn with a luxurious soft texture.
We have jackets, hats and scarves in the chenille range and jackets and jumpers in the chunky range.
One of the many advantages of being a small company is that we can easily adapt our size structure to accommodate any customer from petite to those with extra cuddlability.
Also, as our designs are so unusual we find that we are in demand from Japan to America, Ireland to London. Our sales policy offers the opportunity for a retailer to be the sole outlet for his/her area, thus enhancing the unique aspect of the range.
As all of our products are individually made we specialise in small orders, enabling us to maintain a high standard of quality workmanship and personal service.
